SERVICE

EIFS Systems

Polystyrene EIF systems have been around for over 50 years and have become a prominent medium in the cladding and insulation of residential and commercial buildings.

A BRANZ appraised EIF system provides a durable, economical and efficient means of cladding and insulating a building. The BRANZ appraisal emphasises these characteristics and testing has proven the cladding system meets New Zealand’s most stringent weather conditions.

SERVICE

Masonry Plastering

A masonry render system can be used for smoothing and texturing brick or concrete blocks to give a monolithic plastered appearance.

The plaster provides a hard durable surface that, when painted, is weatherproof and easier to maintain than a standard painted wall. The concrete block or brick forms the structural element of the wall.

SERVICE

Masonry Insulation

With New Zealand’s wide-ranging temperatures, insulation provides protection against the cold, reduces the harsh impact of hot temperatures, reduces energy expenditure and can create healthy, dry living environments by reducing moisture levels indoors.

According to the Cement and Concrete Association of New Zealand, it is important that concrete homes are adequately insulated to slow the rate at which stored energy is lost from the home. Most of the principles relating to insulation are the same for concrete homes as they are for other types of homes.

SERVICE

Brick & Block

Bagged brick is an economical way of smoothing and texturing brick which gives an attractive rustic texture and fills pointing prior to painting. This provides a wider colour choice and a more weatherproof finish for your brick home.

The finish can be applied to new or old brick, concrete block, AAC or concrete surfaces.

SERVICE

Tilt Slab Plastering

Tilt Slab is a method of forming solid concrete walls that are stood up and fixed on-site to form the structure of a home or commercial building. The installer usually fills large defects, bolt holes and fixing points with detailing plaster.

Off form concrete construction describes building elements that have been laid on-site using boxing to form the shape. The slab can be subsequently textured to produce an attractive textured finish.

SERVICE

Fibre Cement Sheet

A fibre cement sheet jointing and coating system specifically designed for fibre cement sheet cladding can provide a very strong durable meshed joint and thick flat plastered walls with an attractive durable textured finish.

A BRANZ appraised fibre cement sheet jointing and coating system provide a durable, economical and efficient means of cladding a building. The BRANZ appraisal emphasises these characteristics and testing has proven the cladding system meets New Zealand’s most stringent weather conditions.

SERVICE

Hebel Plastering

Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) is a lightweight concrete substrate that is available from several suppliers in either panel or block form. These suppliers will provide details for the installation of their own systems. The Hebel walls can be textured to produce an attractive textured finish.

PLASTER CLADDING SYSTEMS

FAQ's

Does your cladding systems meet the 4D's of weather management?

Yes, our cladding systems satisfy each of the 4D’s recommended by the Department of Building. The 4D’s consist of (1)Deflection (2)Drainage (3)Drying (4)Durability/decay-resistant.

Do your cladding systems have Drained cavities?

Yes, to achieve Drainage and Drying all our cladding systems have Drained cavities.

Will my children put holes in the cladding with their cricket balls?

It is highly unlikely that any damage can be done without a large amount of force. All Polystyrene systems that we are licensed with have enough impact resistance to allow for everyday knocks and impact. If you are concerned about the impact resistance, you can specify a solid plaster system for all lower storey walls which increases impact resistance.

Can you plaster over painted brick or blockwork?

Yes, as long as the surface has been well cleaned. However, it is important to understand that the plaster will only adhere to the brickwork as efficiently as the paint. An adhesive test should be done on the paint prior to plastering.
